The Wolfpack have a knack for coming up big in the big time games. They now have dismantled their two biggest foes from Tobacco Road, the Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels. However, both of those games were at home, and aside from those games, there really hasn’t been a heck of a lot to write home about. The club was beaten by Maryland and Wake Forest, and barely survived Clemson. This is the type of game that the Wolfpack lose. Virginia has been dominant at home, going 9-0-1 ATS in 10 games, and it just shoots the ball remarkably well here at John Paul Jones Arena. The club knocks down 45.9 percent of its chances and 39.1 percent of its chances from long range. Parlay all of that with a stifling defense that allows just 51.1 points per game, and the makings are there for a mild upset. This could be the game that gets the Cavvies back on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble, as they are closing in on the number of wins that it should take to go dancing this year, even though few have mentioned them as a potential bubble team in recent weeks. Look for this to be the fourth straight win and cover for UVA.

NC State vs. Virginia Pick: Virginia Cavaliers -2.5
NC State vs. Virginia Prediction: Virginia 59 – NC State 53
