College Basketball Matchup: North Carolina Tar Heels @ Kentucky Wildcats
Date: Saturday, December 3rd, 12:00 ET
Location: Rupp Arena, Lexington, KY
College Basketball TV Schedule: CBS

The amount of future NBA talent that is on the court in this game is just going to be absolutely stupid. Virtually everyone that touches the court will be playing ball at the next level at some point, and there are probably at least four or five first round NBA Draft choices in just next year’s draft. The Tar Heels were picked off in a de facto road game in Las Vegas against the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels last weekend, but they have continued to just run up and down the court against a relatively difficult schedule.

Kentucky has been awfully impressive this year, and its most recent game against the St. John’s Red Storm resulted in the Cats racking up the most blocks in a game in college basketball history with 18 rejections. However, look at this schedule… St. John’s, Portland, Radford, Old Dominion, Penn State, Kansas, Marist… There really isn’t a fantastic game in the bunch. Now, compare that to what UNC has played… Wisconsin, UNLV, South Carolina, Tennessee State, Mississippi Valley State, UNC Asheville, Michigan State… Now add in the fact that the Heels were bounced out of the dance by Kentucky last year, and the makings are ripe for UNC to pull off the upset at Rupp Arena.

NCAA Basketball Pick: North Carolina Tar Heels +6.5
