The North Carolina Tar Heels are going to try to get back up to the top spot in the country when they try to beat the college basketball odds in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge against the Wisconsin Badgers.

College Basketball Matchup: Wisconsin Badgers @ North Carolina Tar Heels
Date: Wednesday, November 30th, 9:30 ET
Location: Dean Smith Center, Chapel Hill, NC
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN,

The Badgers are going to bring their tremendous defense into Chapel Hill on Wednesday for the finale of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, and we fully expect to see this be a fantastic clash between UNC’s high octane tempo and that slow it down pace of Wisconsin. It is clear that the team that wins the battle of the tempo is probably going to be the one that has the upper hand in this game.

North Carolina has looked beatable at times this year in spite of the fact that it has the best frontcourt in the country. Case in point was the loss to the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels in Sin City on Saturday night when the team was handed its first loss of the campaign. Though we do think that the Tar Heels are going to be able to figure out how to win this game, they are going to be challenged in a big way by a defense that is holding teams to just 39.2 points per game on the campaign. Remember that Wisconsin can light it up as well, as the team is shooting 47.2 percent from beyond the arc. It’ll be a tough game for the Badgers, but they’ll stick within what should be a rather big point spread.
