The Blue Devils are the new No. 1 team in the country after yet another wacky week in college basketball. However, they are the next team that is expected to be in trouble, knowing that the club donning that top ranking has lost five straight weeks. This one definitely could be a challenge, as it is the first game of the year pitting these two Tobacco Road rivals against one another. The Blue Devils got a wakeup call when they went on the road and just barely beat the Boston College Eagles. Now, they’re coming back to Cameron Indoor, where they have gone 4-0 SU and ATS at home since January 8th. Meanwhile, North Carolina was just whipped on the road by the Miami Hurricanes, and this is an even more difficult challenge. The problem that the Heels are going to have in this one is that they just aren’t going to be able to slow down the Dookies. The Blue Devils have one of the best offenses in the country, and they are going to put a huge number on the board on Wednesday night against the Tar Heels. Carolina will score some too, but it won’t be nearly enough.

North Carolina vs. Duke Pick: Duke Blue Devils -11
North Carolina vs. Duke Prediction: Duke 86 – North Carolina 72
