This is a potentially dangerous game for the Orange on Wednesday night if they aren’t careful. It’s going to be tough to not keep eyes ahead on the rest of the Big East schedule, namely the showdown coming up with the Georgetown Hoyas that could ultimately give one of those two teams the regular season Big East title. The ‘Cuse have looked humane over the course of the last few weeks, and though they are a lot tougher with F James Southland in the lineup, they are still a beatable team (and Andy Katz is apparently still an idiot!). This is an intriguing Providence outfit that has won four games in a row to at least think about getting back into the NCAA Tournament discussion. It’s not going to be easy, but winning this game could definitely turn some heads, and that would give the team back to back wins over three teams in a span of 14 days that are going to be dancing. G Bryce Cotton is getting some help from his teammates now, and he is going to need all that help that he can get to keep this one close. We do think that this will stay a single digit game that proves to be very dangerous for the Orange, but in the end, they’ll take down the victory.

Providence vs. Syracuse Pick: Providence Friars +13
Providence vs. Syracuse Prediction: Syracuse 74 – Providence 72
