The NIT is going to continue once again on Sunday afternoon with a three-pack of games that you are going to want to add to the slate of things to watch this weekend. Check out our NIT predictions for the three games on TV on the ESPN family of networks to wrap up your weekend.

NIT Matchup: #7 Northern Iowa Panthers vs. #3 Drexel Dragons
Date: Sunday, March 18th, 11:00 ET
Location: John A. Daskalakis center, Philadelphia, PA
NIT Odds: Drexel -7
NIT TV Schedule: ESPN

It’s going to be an interesting contest in the City of Brotherly Love, knowing that Northern Iowa has the ability to do a heck of a lot of damage. In the end, the Dragons are just able to do far too much to be ignored. They are clearly the better side, and they are the hotter team as well, and for as well as the CAA has represented itself in the postseason from top to bottom, there is no reason to believe that the hosts aren’t going to finally be able to set aside one of the teams that just barely made it into this tournament when it was all said and done.

NIT Free Pick: Drexel -7

NIT Matchup: #8 Bucknell Bison @ #5 Nevada Wolf Pack
Date: Sunday, March 18th, 3:00 ET
Location: Lawlor Events Center, Reno, NV
NIT Odds: Nevada -3
NIT TV Schedule: ESPNU

The oddsmakers just didn’t get this one right when push came to shove. Bucknell knocked off Arizona in the first round of this tournament on the road. However, in the end, it was clear that the Wildcats had absolutely no motivation to be playing in the NIT, and when teams from the power conferences have nothing to want to play for against the teams that do care about being here, whether they are at home or on the road, they are going to be up against it. Nevada clearly wants to be in this tourney after taking out an Oral Roberts team that was supposedly the first team that missed out on the dance this year. These might be two mid major schools, but there are miles and miles separating the talent that both teams have, and there is no way that the Wolf Pack should only be favored by three.

NIT Free Pick: Nevada -3

NIT Matchup: #7 Iowa Hawkeyes @ #3 Oregon Ducks
Date: Sunday, March 18th, 5:00 ET
Location: Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene, OR
NIT Odds: Oregon -7.5
NIT TV Schedule: ESPNU

Iowa is a team that has been playing gritty ball for the majority of the end of the season. This is a lot different challenge having to come all the way up to Eugene for this game though, and just as we found when Northwestern came to Pac-12 country and got absolutely smoked by Washington, we think that this is a game that has a heck of a lot of the same type of feeling to it. If the Oregon offense can figure out how to get up and go in this one just as it did against LSU to start off this tournament, this won’t end up being a game that is all that close when push comes to shove.

NIT Free Pick: Oregon -7.5
