For the final time, the Big East Tournament will feature a slew of teams battling it out over five rounds of gruesome, gut-wrenching basketball. The Bulls and the Pirates will tip things off, and these are two of the teams that really stand no chance whatsoever of winning this tournament. South Florida has an abysmal offense that just can’t put the ball in the net to save its life, while Seton Hall is a young team that is just going to be happy to be here to gain some experience at this level. For either of these teams to survive past Wednesday would be a tremendous shock for those reasons. That being said, the Bulls are the hotter of these two teams at the moment, as they have three straight covers and have scored a win against the Connecticut Huskies and a near miss on the road against the Cincinnati Bearcats. The magic of March tends to bring out the best in teams, and we think that this is going to be at least a tad bit of payback for the Bulls on Tuesday, as they avenge an earlier loss this year at the Prudential Center at the hands of the Pirates.

Seton Hall vs. South Florida Pick: South Florida Bulls PK
Big East First Round Prediction: South Florida 62 – Seton Hall 59
