The Johnnies are on life support at this point, and that’s bad news for a team that really needs to win at least three or four more games to think about a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Now, to make matters worse, the Red Storm’s leading scorer, G D’Angelo Harrison has been suspended for the rest of the year, which leaves just one man that is averaging double digits in scoring per game on the roster. The trip to Notre Dame was going to be bad enough with Harrison out there, but without him ,the quest becomes virtually impossible. The one double-digit scorer left in the fold, F Jakarr Sampson is going to be matched up with F Jack Cooley all night long, and this is as difficult of an assignment for a team in the Big East as you’re going to find when push comes to shove. St. John’s did win when these two teams met the first time around, but that doesn’t mean that it is going to even come close to happening again. Roll with the Fighting Irish to finish off St. John’s with a double digit victory.

St. John’s vs. Notre Dame Pick: Notre Dame Fighting Irish -8.5
St. John’s vs. Notre Dame Prediction: Notre Dame 69 – St. John’s 57
