The time is here for more of our sparkling CBB picks, as we look at the schedule for basketball for Saturday night. The New Mexico Lobos and UNLV Runnin’ Rebels will have it the MWC Tournament Finals, which can be seen on the college basketball TV schedule on CBS.

MWC Tournament Finals Picks: UNLV Runnin’ Rebels vs. New Mexico Lobos
Date: Saturday, March 16th, 6:00 ET
Location: Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, NV
UNLV vs. New Mexico Live TV: CBS

There are three conference tournament crowns that will be handed out in Las Vegas on Saturday, but this is certainly the most illustrious of the three honors. The Lobos and the Runnin’ Rebels are both certainly going to be in the Top 4 lines on the bracket this year, and they could be matched together in the West Region as well. The Lobos are going to have to get on the glass in a big time way if they are going to take down UNLV. The Rebels were able to really slow down a big-dominated set of Colorado State Rams on Friday night, and they did so by getting a great effort out of freshman F Anthony Bennett. Head Coach Steve Alford has a fantastic team, but he also has a club that really isn’t all that deep. Playing two games in two nights against San Diego State and UNLV really isn’t a recipe for success, especially knowing that this second game is a de facto road game. Put this one in the Pit, and we might have a different story on our hands. At the Thomas & Mack though, this game belongs to UNLV.

UNLV vs. New Mexico Pick: UNLV Runnin’ Rebels
MWC Finals Prediction: UNLV 68 – New Mexico 64
