Over/Under: 59.5
Saturday’s Kansas State vs Texas Tech NCAA Football Analysis: Texas Tech was unbeaten until losing a close game to Oklahoma and getting blown out by Oklahoma State the last two weeks.  On the other hand, Kansas State has looked great against lesser competition beating West Virginia and Iowa State by a combined 57 points.  Texas Tech actually outgained Oklahoma State in yards but three turnovers and a terrible red zone defense made the score looked much worse than the game.  Texas Tech’s 22 turnovers are among the most in college football and they’re going to need to minimize them at home against Kansas State if they’re going to avoid their third straight loss.  Kansas State uses two quarterbacks, Jake Waters is the passer and Daniel Sams is the running option quarterback, who leads the team in yards.  This should be easier to contain defensively, even for the weak defense of Texas Tech, but they have had some luck with this scheme averaging about 30 points per game.  Since their shocking lost to North Dakota State the first weekend of the season, Kansas State has beaten the teams they should and lost close games to Baylor, Texas and Oklahoma State but Texas Tech’s offense is very hard to prepare for.  The Red Raiders are getting less value after looking so poor the last two weeks, while Kansas State has looked outstanding.  Kansas State’s offense isn’t geared to score the 35 or more points they will need to keep up in this game and their defense has given up too many points to the good teams they have played.  Texas Tech should be motivated and hungry after dropping two in a row and if they’re going to save this season they’re going to have to rebound at home against Kansas State this weekend.
Kansas State at Texas Tech NCAA Football Picks: Texas Tech -3 and over 59.5
Kansas State at Texas Tech Game Prediction: 41-28 Texas Tech
What to expect in this week 11 NCAA Football match up:
Kansas State has struggled on defense against teams that can throw the ball well and that is all Texas Tech can do offensively.  They should march up and down the field and score early and often and rack up yards like they usually do.  Kansas State’s offense isn’t designed to strike quickly and play in a shoot out and their duel quarterback system should not be very difficult to defend.  These two teams are getting very opposite perceptions by the betting public right now but Texas Tech’s elite level offense will get back on track against Kansas State.
