Returning in 2014 for the Georgia Bulldogs, is Heisman Candidate Running Back, Todd Gurley
Preview: The Clemson Tigers certainly won’t be putting up the points they did last year with the loss of Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins. They still return 5 starters on offense and 7 on defense. The Georgia Bulldogs were ravaged by a slew of injuries last season. Back for the 2014 campaign are Heisman candidate running-back, Todd Gurley along with wide receiver weapons in Chris Conley and Michael Bennett. Behind center for the Bulldogs will be senior signal-caller Hutson Mason. Mason gathered a little experience late in the 2013-14 season due to the injury of NFL draftee Aaron Murray. Georgia also has a slew of starters returning on both sides of the ball. On defense, they return 10 of their 11 starters from 2013; four of these starters make up one of the best linebacking corps in the SEC. Georgia should be favored by double-digits in this one, and I feel they are poised to make a run in the SEC this year. Look for them to take out last season’s frustrations on Clemson and get their season started with a bang.
