Week 8 College Football Picks: Alabama Crimson Tide @ Tennessee Volunteers

CFB Betting Odds: Alabama -20
Alabama vs. Tennessee Live TV: ESPN

Defense hasn’t exactly been a strong suit for the Crimson Tide this year. They are allowing 31.5 points per game against a schedule that hasn’t exactly involved a ton of juggernauts. Into town come the Crimson Tide, who are riding a great wave once again, as they prepare for another shot at the BCS National Championship. No team has scored more than 14 on this Alabama ‘D’ in quite some time, and the truth of the matter is that the unit is ready to give up *GASP!* 20 or so. QB Tyler Bray is the man to put those points on the board in some way, shape, or form. Remember that Alabama’s offense doesn’t exactly slack, and it should put at least 30 on the board in this one. It might take 35-40 to be able to cover this number, but the Tennessee defense should truly oblige. In the end, expect to see this game featuring at least 60, though as many as 45 of that could belong to the Tide.

Alabama @ Tennessee Pick: Alabama/Tennessee Over 55
Alabama @ Tennessee Score Prediction: Alabama 42 – Tennessee 20
