As much as we would like to think that Wake Forest is going to be able to hang in this game, in the end, the offense just isn’t going to be there to be able to fight it out with the Tigers. QB Tajh Boyd, RB Andre Ellington, WR DeAndre Hopkins, and WR Sammy Watkins are all just super talented stars, and they are combining to put up 492.9 yards and 40.9 points per game on the campaign. Yes, the Clemson schedule has been weak this year, but it isn’t like the Demon Deacons are all of a sudden world beaters. They are missing WR Michael Campanaro for at least the next few weeks, and that could bring the offense to a grinding halt when push comes to shove. The defense isn’t good enough to make up for the difference either. It’s tough to lay double digits on the road when you’re talking about a team that has to think that this is the Super Bowl, but talent for talent, we just don’t see the Deacs hanging.

Clemson @ Wake Forest Pick: Clemson -13
Clemson @ Wake Forest Score Prediction: Clemson 38 – Wake Forest 17
