Friday’s Washington vs UCLA NCAA Football Analysis: UCLA will try to keep their PAC 12 South hopes alive when they host Washington on Friday, a team they have beaten eight consecutive times at home. With running back Jordan James still hobbling from a nagging ankle injury, coach Jim Mora has gotten creative with his rushing attack. In a 31-26 win against Arizona last weekend linebacker Myles Jack moved to the running back position and had 120 yards and a touchdown on just six carries. Jack was recruited as a running back but wanted to play linebacker and he has been a good one. Now without another running back on the roster he is playing both sides of the ball at a very high level and will be another facet of the game Washington’s defense will have to stop to win this game on the road. Washington’s run defense has allowed over 200 rushing yards per game over its last four contests and that is going to need to improve here. UCLA QB Brett Hundley has also recovered from his October rough patch, throwing for 500 yards and 4 touchdowns in his last two games. On the other side of the ball, UCLA’s defense has been outstanding at home, giving up just 16.5 points per game. They’re going to need to stop one of the best running backs in the country in Bishop Sankey who averages 145 yards per game on the ground. Washington QB Keith Price has been very consistent with three straight 300 yard games and no interceptions in their three straight victories. These teams are both coming into this contest playing very well offensively and the key will be stopping the opposing offense. UCLA has one of the best linebacking groups in the PAC 12 and they should have an advantage getting pressure and slowing down the run while Washington’s defense will have a much harder time on the road.

Free Week 11 Washington vs UCLA Prediction: 34-27 UCLA
What to expect in this week 12 NCAA Football match up: Both offenses will continue to move the ball easily, but UCLA has an advantage in their defensive front seven that will have an easier time getting key stops late in the game. UCLA’s running game won’t be as successful this week but QB Brett Hundley will perform at a Hesiman calbibre again this week and keep his team in contention in the PAC 12 South by leading his team late in the second half. UCLA has more talent on both sides of the ball and if they can handle the Huskies running game they should win this one by a touchdown or better.
