Week 8 College Football Picks: Kansas State Wildcats @ West Virginia Mountaineers
Date: Saturday, October 20th, 7:00 ET
Location: Mountaineer Field, Morgantown, WV
CFB Betting Odds: West Virginia -2.5
Kansas State vs. West Virginia Live TV: FOX

The second game of the college football on FOX doubleheader is going to be a great one, as Kansas State battles it out with West Virginia in Morgantown. What we have seen out of WVU of late, we really just don’t like, as we think that the team is undisciplined, gives up far too many points, and generally just isn’t all that fantastic aside from what QB Geno Smith brings to the table. Kansas State’s defense has already played some massive games this year, and the offense has the ability to keep up in a shootout if that’s what it comes down to. The oddsmakers really messed this one up. This is a case where the significantly better team is an underdog on the road. QB Collin Klein is going to be able to pull off the “upset” to keep the Wildcats in the National Championship picture, and he might become the Heisman Trophy odds favorite in the interim as well.

Kansas State @ West Virginia Pick: Kansas State Wildcats +2.5
Kansas State @ West Virginia Score Prediction: Kansas State 34 – West Virginia 28
