The Battle of the Commonwealth isn’t exactly the greatest game in the world this year, knowing that both of these teams are going to struggle to score points. The ‘total’ is just a wee low for our tastes at 42, though we do think that it is going to fail to get there. In the end, the Kentucky offense just has to be better than it was a campaign ago when the team was a wreck for really the whole campaign. There is a lot of hype around QB Teddy Bridgewater and the Cardinals as a Top 25 team, but we just don’t see it. This isn’t guaranteed to be the best team in the Big East, let alone a team that can beat the 12th or 13th best team in the SEC by two touchdowns. Head Coach Joker Phillips will make sure that this one stays at least remotely close.

Kentucky @ Louisville Pick: Kentucky +13
Kentucky @ Louisville Score Prediction: Louisville 21 – Kentucky 14
