Week 6 College Football Picks: Miami Hurricanes @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Date: Saturday, October 6th, 7:30 ET
Location: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
CFB Betting Odds: Notre Dame -13.5
Miami @ Notre Dame Live TV: NBC

Oh, how foolish Joe Public can really be! Almost 60% of the public is betting on Miami plus the points on Saturday night, and it just isn’t justified. QB Stephen Morris has thrown for over 1,000 yards in his last two games, but in his previous three, he averaged less than 200 passing yards per game. That just isn’t going to cut it against a Notre Dame defense that hasn’t allowed a touchdown in coming up on nine straight quarters worth of play. Sure, the Golden Domers don’t have that much of an offense, but the Hurricanes have one of their worst defenses that they have had in quite some time. They rank 100th or worse in so many categories, it isn’t even funny. The team just gives up points in oodles, and if Notre Dame can just go on one of those 21-point runs, there is no way that it doesn’t cover this spread, which we think is at least a touchdown too low.

Miami @ Notre Dame Pick: Notre Dame -13.5
Miami @ Notre Dame Score Prediction: Notre Dame 40 – Miami 10
