There aren’t fantastic teams playing in college football betting action for the most part on Friday, but these two games still present us with a great opportunity to boost our bankrolls!
Year To Date Record: 48-47 ATS
Upset Record: 11-20, -$15
Week 10 College Football Matchup: Central Michigan Chippewas @ Kent State Golden Flashes
Date: Friday, November 4th, 8:00 ET
Location: Dix Stadium, Kent, OH
College Football Lines: Kent State -1
Week 10 College Football TV Schedule: ESPNU
This game is just brutally ugly. Of all of the MAC games this week in primetime (and there have already been three of them), this is definitely the biggest dog of the bunch. Neither Kent State nor Central Michigan is going anywhere right now, nor will these teams probably be doing much in the next couple of years. To make matters worse, Kent State has played in some brutal games this year, many of which have totaled fewer than 40 points. That being said, we’re not totally sure why the ‘total’ is so short in this game. It’s going to be cold, but it’s not like there are going to be that much wind or rain/snow to deal with. The Chippies have played virtually every game this year into the 50s since starting off with two dud duels, so we’ll bank on that trend continuing.
Week 10 NCAA Football Pick: Central Michigan/Kent State Over 42.5
Week 10 College Football Matchup: USC Trojans @ Colorado Buffaloes
Date: Friday, November 4th, 9:00 ET
Location: Folsom Field, Boulder, CO
College Football Lines: USC -21.5
Week 10 College Football TV Schedule: ESPN
There’s no doubt that the Trojans have to be down about losing in triple overtime last week against Stanford, but there is a real question about how motivated they are going to be about coming to a brutally cold city of Boulder to take on a team that is 1-8. The Buffs are bad; in fact, they’re so bad that we think that they might be the worst team in all of the AQ conferences. The only question here is whether USC decides to show up or not. If not, Colorado will stick in front of this number. If so, the Buffs will get trampled. However, in this one, we tend to think the Ralphy and the gang will at least stick around for awhile. We’re not going so far as to say that an upset could be in the cards, but we could see Colorado, in its equivalent of the Super Bowl, staying within about two touchdowns.
Week 10 NCAA Football Pick: Colorado +21.5
