Year To Date Record: 48-47 ATS
Upset Record: 11-20, -$15

Week 10 College Football Matchup: Akron Zips @ Miami Redhawks
Date: Thursday, November 3rd, 7:30 ET
Location: Fred Yager Stadium, Oxford, OH
College Football Lines: Miami -14
Over/Under 47.5
Week 10 College Football TV Schedule: ESPNU

The Redhawks and Zips aren’t exactly the cream of the crop in the MAC this year, and they are used to playing some ugly, ugly games. Last year’s 19-14 win for the Redhawks in Akron marked the third straight ‘under’ game that these two have played, and it also marked the third time in a row that the Zips have stuck in front of a number. There’s no telling just how bad Akron really is. It has lost four games in a row and hasn’t beaten an FBS team all season long. That being said, it has only been beaten once since the start of October by more than 10 points. Miami doesn’t have an offense that should be dropping 30 or 40 points on Akron, and if that’s the case, we’ll just take the point.

Week 10 NCAA Football Pick: Akron +14

Week 10 College Football Matchup: Tulsa Golden Hurricane @ UCF Knights
Date: Thursday, November 3rd, 8:00 ET
Location: Bright House Networks Stadium, Orlando, FL
College Football Lines: UCF -1.5
Over/Under 49
Week 10 College Football TV Schedule: CBS College Sports

This is as big of a game as the Knights will play in quite some time in all likelihood. They really are at a crossroad right now, as they could become a 5-4 team that is carrying some momentum towards bowl eligibility and has a great shot of winning this conference. Or, they could drop to 4-5, be out of the Conference USA title race, and struggle to reach a bowl game. Tulsa is no joke, though, as its only losses this year have come against Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Boise State. Yikes! We tend to think, after some frustrating results against UCF in the past, that the Golden Hurricane will find a way to get back on the horse and beat it in its own building for the first time since 2005.

Week 10 NCAA Football Pick: Tulsa +1.5

Week 10 College Football Matchup: Florida State Seminoles @ Boston College Eagles
Date: Thursday, November 3rd, 8:00 ET
Location: Alumni Stadium, Chestnut Hill, MA
College Football Lines: Florida State -14.5
Over/Under 45.5
Week 10 College Football TV Schedule: ESPN

If you really believe that the Eagles have a chance for an upset in this game, you’re probably crazy. Boston College’s win over the Terps last week on the road was a huge shock to us, but it is just a further proof that Maryland just doesn’t have that great of a team this year. Remember that Florida State isn’t your average 5-3 team. The Noles’ three losses all came without QB EJ Manuel playing in at least bits and pieces of those games. They’ve won their last three by 25+, and they don’t figure to stop that trend, possibly until the team takes on the Miami Hurricanes (and maybe even beyond that) in a few weeks. We can’t picture this game sticking within three touchdowns as long as Manuel and the Seminoles show up. The ACC Atlantic Division title is at least still mathematically within reach, and there are some grumblings that a 9-3 FSU team might just be eligible for the BCS if enough teams end up falling flat on their faces.

Week 10 NCAA Football Pick: Florida State -14.5
