Week 9 College Football Picks: Ohio State Buckeyes @ Penn State Nittany Lions
Date: Saturday, September 27th, 5:30 ET
Location: Beaver Stadium, University Park, PA
CFB Betting Odds: Pick ‘Em
Ohio State vs. Penn State Live TV: ESPN

History will tell you that the Penn State/Ohio State game is going to be a lower scoring affair. Only Ohio State in 2010 (38) and Ohio State in 2007 (37) have scored more than 24 points in a game in this series since the 1990s, and that’s a huge factor to remember when these two get together on Saturday night. The Buckeyes are going to likely be without QB Braxton Miller, and we already know that their offense came to a terrible halt when that happened last week against Purdue. Penn State has some depth issues as well all across the offense and the defense thanks to the lack of scholarships, and in the end, if there are even any minor injuries that get in the way, the team’s productivity could all of a sudden be stopped. This one could be a good game, but it strikes us that defense is going to be the name of the game when push comes to shove.

Ohio State @ Penn State Pick: Under 50
Ohio State @ Penn State Score Prediction: Penn State 28 – Ohio State 20
