Week 8 College Football Picks: Texas Tech Red Raiders @ TCU Horned Frogs
Date: Saturday, October 20th, 3:30 ET
Location: Amon G. Carter Stadium, Fort Worth, TX
CFB Betting Odds: Texas Tech -1.5
Texas Tech @ TCU Live TV: ABC/ESPN2

The world is about to get bamboozled by the Red Raiders in this one. Do you really believe that Texas Tech is all that great? Sure, the team has five wins to show for its work at this point, but that doesn’t mean that it is on its way to the Big XII title any point in the near future. The win against West Virginia was a bi-product of the hefty Big XII slate catching up to a team that is used to playing a bunch of creampuffs in the conference season. Now, the Red Raiders, coming off of their biggest victory of the season, have to go on the road to Fort Worth, where TCU and its ferocious defense are waiting. As long as the offense, even without QB Casey Pachall, figures out how to put some points on the board, this is a game that could, and really should be won by the hosts.

Texas Tech @ TCU Pick: TCU +1.5
Texas Tech @ TCU Score Prediction: TCU 27 – Texas Tech 21
