Week 3 College Football Picks: Texas Longhorns @ Ole Miss Runnin’ Rebels
Date: Saturday, September 15th, 9:15 ET
Location: Vaught Hemingway Stadium, Oxford, MS
CFB Betting Odds: Texas -8.5
Texas vs. Ole Miss Live TV: ESPN

ESPN has a heck of a double header on Saturday night of what should be remarkable games in the home of SEC teams. First, Knoxville should be rocking for the clash for Florida and Tennessee, and then, Oxford should be as high as a kite as well. There is a lot of optimism that that Rebs are going to be able to get the job done against the Longhorns, but this time, we just don’t see it. The truth of the matter is that Texas clearly has the better of these two defenses, and it is going to be hard to see Ole Miss getting much on the board that doesn’t involve some trickeration or other cuteness. QB David Ash isn’t the greatest quarterback in the world, but he comes with a head coach in Mack Brown that has never been afraid to come on the road in games like this one against teams that are desperately trying to be up and comers. UT is the better team, and it should be able to put this one away by two scores, though we do expect that it is going to be a gritty affair.

Texas @ Ole Miss Pick: Texas Longhorns -8.5
Texas @ Ole Miss Score Prediction: Texas 27 – Ole Miss 14
