College football betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their USC Trojans vs. Syracuse bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Saturday football picks for this encounter.

Week 2 College Football Picks: USC Trojans @ Syracuse Orange
Date: Saturday, September 8th, 3:30 ET
Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
CFB Betting Odds: USC -26.5
USC vs. Syracuse Live TV: ABC OR ESPN2

QB Matt Barkley and the Trojans have already run it up against one opponent this year, and they are probably going to get the chance to do it again this time around against Syracuse. The Orange are going to be out of their element playing this game outside, and we definitely don’t think that they are going to be able to get the same type of offense going against the Trojans that they did, especially in the second half against Northwestern last week. This is a ‘total’ that we think is overinflated, knowing that both of these teams were able to put massive amounts of yards and points on the board. Hawaii had absolutely no luck trying to get the ball moving against this USC defense, and Syracuse won’t have that chance either. That being said, we think that this is going to be a game in which the ‘under’ is the right play, as we think that that is significantly and artificially hyped.

USC @ Syracuse Pick: USC/Syracuse Under 65
USC @ Syracuse Score Prediction: USC 41 – Syracuse 14
