Week 6 College Football Picks: Utah State Aggies @ BYU Cougars
Date: Friday, October 5th, 10:15 ET
Location: Lavell Edwards Stadium, Provo, UT
CFB Betting Odds: BYU -7.5
Utah State vs. BYU Live TV: ESPN

Much has been made over the fact that the Aggies could be in the Top 25 after this week if they can win this game, and that would be the first time that that happened since 1961. Of course, what is more important is the lack of wins in this series and the lack of games that the Aggies have won on the road against teams from their own state of late. You have to go back to 1974 to find the last time that USU beat both Utah and BYU. QB Chuckie Keeton might be the best quarterback in the state, but the Cougars are going to be throwing a lot at this largely untested Utah State defense. QB Riley Nelson is expected to be back from his back injury that has cost him the last game and a half, but BYU is also expected to play QB Taysom Hill, a true dual threat as well. The Aggies aren’t quite there yet. They’ll keep this one close for a bit, but ultimately, they’ll get beaten by double digits.

Utah State @ BYU Pick: BYU -7.5
Utah State @ BYU Score Prediction: BYU 31 – Utah State 21
