CFB Betting Odds: BYU -12

The debut is here for Head Coach Mike Leach at Washington State, and it could be an interesting game to get started with at BYU. The Cougars are perennial one of those mid-major types of teams that have the ability to come out and win games like this handily against the mediocre big conference squads. However, we think that Wazzu is being vastly underrated here at +12. Whether it be QB Jeff Tuel or QB Connor Halliday, we have the confidence that Washington State is going to be able to get the job done and put some points on the board. Leach will make a big difference with the culture at Washington State, and there is no doubt that his guys are going to be fighting tooth and nail to get the job done. We don’t know whether there will be an upset in the cards or not, but we do think that the red Cougars are definitely the ones worth backing on Thursday night.

Washington State @ BYU Pick: Washington State +12
Washington State @ BYU Score Prediction: BYU 38 – Washington State 34
