Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers
Date and Time: Monday, 11/4/13 at 8:30pm on ESPN
Game Line: Green Bay Packers -10 (from JustBet)
Monday Night NFL Football Analysis: This matchup features two teams that, when healthy, have serious playoff aspirations in the NFC. However, neither Green Bay nor Chicago comes into this game healthy at all. Chicago has lost six straight to the Packers playing with QB Jay Cutler and LB Lance Briggs. This week when they head to Lambeau Field they will be without both of them and trying to keep their heads above the water until they return. Aaron Rodgers is 9-2 against the Bears and completes 70% of his passes against them but he will have a much harder time with wR James Jones questionable and WR Randall Cobb out for the third straight week. It doesn’t matter who is on the receiving end of Rodgers passes, he is so accurate and efficient that as the young unproven players like WR Jared Boykins have 100 yard receiving games. The real reason for the success of the Packers this season has been RB Eddie Lacy giving them a ground attack that they haven’t had since Brett Farve was the quarterback. None of this seems good for a Bears team that has lost three of their last four and comes off its bye ready to play without their quarter back. Back up Josh McCown will have Brandon Marshall and Matt Forte who should have some success against a mediocre Green Bay defense, but containing the Packers offense is a completely different story. Typically, for a divisional game like this it would be hard not to take the double digit points, but the Bears are just too beat up and too inexperienced to handle a Packers offense that is well balanced and explosive. The Chicago Bears would give the Packers a game if they were healthy, but as beat up as they are, the Packers continue their dominance against the NFC North this week.

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers Game Prediction: 30-14 Packers
What to expect in this NFL Football match up: The Chicago Bears offense will find out just how important QB Jay Cutler was to their success when they play without him on Monday night. Green Bay’s line backers and blitz schemes will get home on Josh McCown through out the gameand make him very uncomfortable in the pocket. Matt Forte will have a decent game, but you can’t beat the Packers at Lambeau field if you can’t throw the football. Offensively, Aaron Rodgers and his band of no name replacement recievers will do better than expected against a Bears secondary that is one of the worst in the league and is a huge matchup problem for the Bears in this contest.
