Week 3 NFL Picks: San Francisco 49ers @ Minnesota Vikings
Date: Sunday, September 23rd, 1:00 ET
Location: HHH Metrodome, Minneapolis, MN
NFL Betting Odds: San Francisco -7
49ers @ Vikings On TV: FOX

This is a trap game for the 49ers in every sense of the word. They are coming off of a pair of games against some of the best teams that the NFC has to offer, and now they have to get back to playing teams that are generally quite inferior. That being said, perhaps Minnesota isn’t as inferior as it seems. The argument could be made that the Colts should be 2-0 this year, albeit against two teams from the AFC South not named the Houston Texans. Though we know that this is going back quite some ways, the 49ers haven’t had a great history of playing against the Vikes. In fact, you have to go back decades to find the last time that San Francisco won a game in this building. Though we think that that will come to a close, QB Christian Ponder and RB Adrian Peterson will be able to put up a fight in what should be a close game.

49ers @ Vikings Pick: Minnesota Vikings +7
49ers @ Vikings Score Prediction: San Francisco 24 – Minnesota 20
