NFL betting action is here again! Here at Cappers Info, we’re making our running tally of NFL picks this year, continuing with action on Sunday, October 16th!

Year To Date Record: 22-13 ATS
Upset Record: 4-11 -$730

Week 6 NFL Matchup: St. Louis Rams @ Green Bay Packers
Date: Sunday, October 16th, 1:00 ET
Location: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
NFL Lines: Green Bay -14
Over/Under 47.5
Week 6 NFL TV Schedule: FOX

You’re not going to catch us playing against the Rams off of their bye week, especially catching two touchdowns, but you’re also not going to see us going against this red hot Green Bay offense either. That being said, we do think that both of these teams are going to be getting into the 20s this week. The truth of the matter is if QB Sam Bradford and this offense had anything going whatsoever over the first few weeks of the season, this ‘total’ would have been in the mid-50s. That being said, we think that the bye week did the second year man out of Oklahoma well. It’s time to get refocused and to get back to what works offensively, and the extra week with Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels might be just what the doctor ordered. Green Bay will get its points, but so will the Rams in this one.

Week 6 NFL Pick: St. Louis/Green Bay Over 47.5

Week 6 NFL Matchup: Jacksonville Jaguars @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Date: Sunday, October 16th, 1:00 ET
Location: Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA
NFL Lines: Pittsburgh -12.5
Over/Under 40
Week 6 NFL TV Schedule: CBS

Rookie quarterback. On the road. In Pittsburgh. Not a good formula for the Jags right now. Jacksonville’s only offense this year has really come from RB Maurice Jones-Drew, who probably isn’t going to get anything going against a rush defense that is historically one of the best in the league. That’s going to put all of the pressure in the world on rookie QB Blaine Gabbert, who just isn’t ready for what’s coming against him in this one. Don’t be shocked if the Jags start the day and end the day with the exact same number of points. Plus, QB Ben Roethlisberger is coming off of a five touchdown game last week, and he might be able to finally turn the corner this year after that game.

Week 6 NFL Pick: Pittsburgh -12.5

Week 6 NFL Matchup: Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons
Date: Sunday, October 16th, 1:00 ET
Location: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA
NFL Lines: Atlanta -4.5
Over/Under 50.5
Week 6 NFL TV Schedule: FOX

Do the oddsmakers truly realize how many points 50.5 is in an NFL betting battle? The Panthers only seem to get their offense going when they are playing catch up, and that’s something that they apparently do better than any team in the league. Carolina has already hit the backdoor twice this season. This week though, it might just barge right into the front door of the Georgia Dome, as we are afraid that the Falcons are a team that has just been defeated mentally. WR Roddy White isn’t totally healthy. WR Julio Jones is out. The offensive line just isn’t doing that great of a job opening up holes for RB Michael Turner. The defense still isn’t all that great and has had a ton of mental lapses. Upset city? It’s very, very possible. Bank on Carolina in a tight one in the 20s.

Week 6 NFL Pick: Carolina +4.5 & Carolina/Atlanta Under 50.5

Week 6 NFL Matchup: Houston Texans @ Baltimore Ravens
Date: Sunday, October 16th, 4:05 ET
Location: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD
NFL Lines: Baltimore -7.5
Over/Under 45
Week 6 NFL TV Schedule: CBS

It might be awfully cold on Sunday in Baltimore, but the sweat will still be pouring off of the face of Head Coach Gary Kubiak. Kubiak is sitting on a very hot seat right now, and the temperature of that seat got a lot warmer last week when LB Mario Williams was knocked out for the season. WR Andre Johnson doesn’t expect to play either, which means that QB Matt Schaub is going to be under a heck of a lot of heat. The short passing game just isn’t going to work the same way that it did last week against the Raiders. Baltimore is off of its bye, and it has to be licking its chops. We’d be shocked to see the Texans hang within double digits without two of its biggest stars this week.

Week 6 NFL Pick: Baltimore -7.5
