Week 2 NFL Picks: Arizona Cardinals @ New England Patriots
Date: Sunday, September 16th, 1:00 ET
Location: Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, MA
Week 2 Betting Odds: New England -14
Cardinals vs. Patriots Live TV: FOX

It is clear that Vegas is going to take a bath if the Patriots successfully win this game by two touchdowns on Sunday afternoon. The Pats are absolutely the better team in this game, and anyone with a good memory will recall the fact that the last time these two teams hooked up in this venue, New England won by 40. This one will certainly be closer than that (at least we hope so!). QB Kevin Kolb is going to be forced into starting duties this week, and that will probably make this one quite ugly from an offensive standpoint. However, we do have to remember that Arizona’s defense isn’t terrible. This isn’t a unit that is just going to get run and thrown all over in all likelihood. This is a unit with some pride, and 10 straight foes that have come across the Cards have scored 23 points or fewer. New England isn’t going to score four offensive TDs or more every single week, and this might be a game where a late touchdown might hit the backdoor for the Cardinals.

Cardinals @ Patriots Pick: Arizona Cardinals +14
Cardinals @ Patriots Score Prediction: New England 27 – Arizona 14
