Week 6 NFL Picks: Indianapolis Colts @ New York Jets

Week 6 Betting Odds: New York -3
Colts vs. Jets Live TV: CBS

This is a tough game to take our whacks at on the NFL betting lines. However, we think that we are going to go with the Jets, as the reality of not having Head Coach Chuck Pagano is likely going to set in for Indy at some point. Men like LB Robert Mathis, LB Pat Angerer, and DB Vontae Davis are all likely out of the fold for the Colts, and that’s going to bring some massive cause for concern against a team that has a terrible time pass and run blocking. The Jets are going to hope to get back TE Dustin Keller and WR Stephen Hill, and if that turns out to be the case, perhaps QB Mark Sanchez has a real chance to get something going for the first time since Week 1. Remember that the Indianapolis defense isn’t exactly the greatest in the world, and it is a team that is likely quite overrated at 2-2. The telling stat that we have to use, though? The Colts have failed to cover 12 games in a row against teams with losing records. We have to keep riding that pony until she gives out on us.

Colts @ Jets Pick: New York Jets -3
Colts @ Jets Score Prediction: New York 21 – Indianapolis 14
