Week 1 College Football Picks: Dallas Cowboys @ New York Giants
Date: Wednesday, September 5th, 8:30 ET
Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
NFL Betting Odds: New York -4
Cowboys vs. Giants On TV: ESPN

Road teams have had just an atrocious start to the season over the course of the last several years, and that fact is just too difficult to ignore. Save for in 2002 when this whole “one game before the first Sunday of the season” thing started, the road team has been beaten nine straight times, and the roadies are just 2-6 ATS in those eight games. Needless to say, that doesn’t bode well for QB Tony Romo, who doesn’t exactly have a great history of playing in games like this one. The Giants are going to be lifting their Super Bowl banner on Wednesday, and the emotions involved with that just have to be out of this world. Don’t be all that shocked if the boys from Big D come out with their hearts on their sleeves as well in the first game of the season, but in the end, this is a game that the Giants should be winning more often than not by at least a touchdown.

Dallas Cowboys @ New York Giants Pick: New York Giants -4
Dallas Cowboys @ New York Giants Score Prediction: New York 31 – Dallas 20
