Week 1 NFL Picks: Philadelphia Eagles @ Cleveland Browns
Date: Sunday, September 9th, 1:00 ET
Location: Cleveland Browns Stadium, Cleveland, OH
Week 1 Betting Odds: Philadelphia -9
Eagles vs. Browns Live TV: FOX

The Browns are the biggest home underdogs on the Week 1 betting odds, and that’s probably a bad sign in terms of winning the game outright. The Eagles have a great team this year, and we don’t really think that they are going to get snuck up on by all of these lower class teams like they did a campaign ago. Still, Cleveland is going to want to put up a great fight with its brand new looking offense. If QB Brandon Weeden can prove that he is the real deal, this could be a good game for the residents of the Dawg Pound. Remember that the Browns have covered two of the three games in this series since the rebirth of the organization, and we think that all of this talk of how well Philly has played in the preseason (4-0 SU, 3-0-1 ATS) and how well it did down the stretch last year (4-0 SU, 4-0 ATS) is far overplayed. Go with Cleveland and the points to at least stick inside of a TD in its home opener.

Eagles @ Browns Pick: Cleveland Browns +9 (-120)
Eagles @ Browns Score Prediction: Philadelphia 23 – Cleveland 21
