Sunday NFL Football Analysis: The Packers found out Aaron Rodgers will be back for Sunday’s road matchup with the Chicago Bears that will decide the NFC North.  Rodgers missed his seventh straight game Sunday when Green Bay fell 38-31 at home to Pittsburgh.  That put the Packers on the brink of elimination but Chicago failed miserably to clinch the division with a 51-11 loss at Philadelphia later that night.  Green Bay is trying to win its third straight division title under Rodgers who will be playing his first game since breaking his collarbone in the first meeting with Chicago a 27-20 loss.  Rodgers has 15 touchdowns and just four interceptions this season, a big improvement over the slew of quarterbacks who tried to replace him.  He might also have one of his top offensive weapons back for the game, receiver Randall Cobb who has missed 10 games with a broken leg.  One key player who won’t be ready for the game is linebacker Clay Matthews who is out with thumb injury.  What works versus Chicago is running against a defense allowing a league worst 161.5 yards per game on the ground.  On top of that Rodgers’ injury has transformed the Packers into a much better rushing team than it has been.  They are seventh in the league with 132 yards per game with rookie Eddie Lacy leading the way.  Chicago is hoping Lance Briggs will be better in his second game back in the lineup.  He returned last Sunday and played 57 plays with just one tackle in his first game after missing seven in a row.  The Packers will have to slow down a high powered Chicago passing attack with Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery who have 180 receptions between them, one of the better duo’s in the league.  If both quarterbacks play like they can when they are healthy this game will be a close one and a shootout.  Neither defense is very good but both teams have great weapons on offense.  The over is probably a safer bet than either side in a game that could go to whoever has the ball last.

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears Game Prediction: 38-35 Green Bay
What to expect in this week 17 NFL Football match up: Green Bay is missing their defensive leader in Clay Matthews and Chicago’s defensive leader in Lance Briggs is clearly not fully healthy.  Meanwhile, both offenses are getting back big weapons and both already have above average offenses.  Aaron Rodgers, if he can shake off the early game rust quickly, will have Eddie Lacy and his full recieving core in tact which hasn’t been the case very often this season.  They will score on time consuming long drives while Chicago will use Jeffery and Marshall to gain big chunk plays and score quickly.
