Sunday NFL Football Analysis: Despite their very demoralizing loss last week, there are still a number of ways Baltimore can get the final AFC playoff spot.  A win by the Ravens and a loss by either San Diego or Miami is the most likely way for the Ravens to extend their season, but Baltimore can also clinch if Miami, San Diego and Pittsburgh all lose.  The Ravens made things difficult for themselves with a 41-7 slaughtering at the hands of New England at home last Sunday.  Flacco who was dealing with a knee injury, had one of his worst games of the season with only 260 yards and two interceptions.  The Cincinnati Bengals have secured the AFC North championship will need a win and a New England loss at home against Buffalo to jump the Patriots for the number two seed and a first round bye in the AFC.  After the Ravens beat the Bengals 20-17 on November 10 in Baltimore, the change of venue for this one is significant because Baltimore is just 2-5 on the road this season while Cincinnati is 7-0 at home.  The Bengals have averaged 43.5 points per game at home including a division clinching win 42-14 against Minnesota last weekend.  Andy Dalton and AJ Green have been on the same page lately, with Green scoring in each of his last three games including two last week.  Dalton has 31 touchdown passes and could set a new team single season record with two more this weekend.  The Ravens offense has not been nearly as effective scoring just one touchdown in the last eight quarters.  However, they have always responded very well under coach John Harbuagh.  Since 2008 they are 4-0 rebounding from a loss of 20 points or more.  The Bengals defense ranks sixth against both the run and the pass so Baltimore’s offense will have their work cut out for them.  We have been high on Cincinnati all season long and on paper, there’s no reason to think they won’t wipe the floor with Baltimore at home this weekend.  Baltimore’s defense is solid but their offense isn’t good enough to win on the road in this one.
Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals Free NFL Picks: Cincinnati -6.5 and over 44
Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals Game Prediction: 31-17 Cincinnati
What to expect in this week 17 NFL Football match up: Baltimore just isn’t the same team on the road as they are at home, it has been their biggest problem all season long.  On the other hand, Cincinnati is also a dominant home team.  They haven’t lost there all season and there’s no reason to think a Baltimore team that doesn’t move the ball offensively will get anything going in this one.  A few big plays from AJ Green and a couple long drives for touchdowns will be all Cincinnati needs to win this game.
