Week 2 Football Picks: Baltimore Ravens @ Philadelphia Eagles
Date: Sunday, September 16th, 1:00 ET
Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
NFL Betting Lines: Philadelphia -2.5
Ravens vs. Eagles On TV: CBS

The Ravens and Eagles are both amongst the best teams in the league, and it is going to show in what should be a great game on Sunday afternoon. Baltimore was clearly one of the most impressive teams in the land in Week 1 when it blew away the Bengals at home, but this is a tremendously different task at hand. Philadelphia meanwhile, looked terrible against a Cleveland team that we think has a defense that is good enough to make life a living hell on a lot of foes this year. That being said, all things equal, there’s a reason that the Eagles are favored in this game. QB Michael Vick is going to be relieved to not have to be dealing with DE Terrell Suggs, and he might be able to make some plays in the big time now that he is back in front of the hometown faithful. Of course, we are definitely aware that this one can get ugly in a heartbeat, but again, when we bet on the NFL, we realize that going against Joe Public more often than not is going to make you a winner. This week, the public is on Baltimore, and the line isn’t moving. That generally means that the smarter bucks are coming in on the Eagles. We’ll follow that money.

Ravens @ Eagles Pick: Philadelphia Eagles -2.5
Baltimore @ Philadelphia Score Prediction: Philadelphia 27 – Baltimore 24
