Week 6 Football Picks: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Tennessee Titans
Date: Thursday, October 11th, 8:20 ET
Location: LP Field, Nashville, TN
NFL Betting Lines: Pittsburgh -5.5
Steelers vs. Titans On TV: NFL Network

This might be the easiest Thursday Night Football contest that we have had this year to handicap, and we don’t even need to talk a thing about the matchup. Here’s the bottom line: Pittsburgh is always one of the most public teams in the world, and this is no exception. Almost 70% of the public has been betting on the Steelers, yet the line has come down a point and a half off of that crucial ‘7’, and it is still falling. That means that there is a heck of a lot of big money coming in on the Titans, and we love seeing that. It’s as sharp of a play as there could truthfully be, and we want in. The justification for it all? The Steelers still have some massive holes in their defense, and they are going against a hungry team that is back at home and finally has almost all of its offensive weapons back in place. The offense for Pittsburgh still doesn’t have all that much balance to it, though RB Rashard Mendenhall did have a good game last week. In the end, this just feels like a game in which the Steelers are going to find some way to really screw up to fall to 2-3.

Steelers @ Titans Pick: Tennessee Titans +5.5
Pittsburgh @ Tennessee Score Prediction: Tennessee 27 – Pittsburgh 23
